Each Art Piece is a Rendering of Compassion

Art isn't captured only in shows and installations. Art is everywhere in raw form—and as a part of this year's Global Gala the Charter is introducing a Gallery filled with wonderful creations from an extraordinary group of people—each taking an idea, feeling or passion, adding the raw ingredients and creating a personal masterpiece.

Some of these master creators are shown in the picture below. When you visit our webpage and the gallery, you'll see a carousel of images depicting one piece of art from each contributing artist. Then you'll see the composite presentation of all of our artists themselves. Click here to go to the page where you can click on their individual pictures to not only see their art but read their stories (The picture below is just a screenshot!). You are visiting a gallery, and just as each gallery visit demands time to see and make yourself be a part of the exhibit, you'll need time to reflect and think about how you can own or gift this original piece of art.

There are some seasoned artists in the Global Gallery, as well as artists who have switched careers, and those who are just now beginning to fulfill their passion. Bronwyn Davies from the Tamborine Mountain in South East Queensland, Australia, is referred to as the "Lorax of Now." Her "Which Wolf Will You Feed," is a stark environmental message.

Photographer Harry Longstreet was a triple-threat producer, writer and director who worked primarily from the late 70s through the 90s and best known as executive producer of the Fame TV Series. Today his photographs are winning major awards.

Artists Tom Krysiak and Amanda Winnington-Ingram connected with us via L'Arche Daybreak in Richmond Hills, Canada, part of a world-wide movement that welcomes adults with differing intellectual abilities to explore their unique talents and gifts with others. Tom's "I Am King" is reminiscent of the work that comes out of the explosive European avant-garde COBRA movement of the late 1940 and early 50s. Amanda's "Starry Night" is an interpretation of van Gogh's piece by the same name.

Kira Carrillo Corser, a wonderful member of our Compassionate California team, is a Compassionate Arts in Action creator and teacher, and Kelly Asadorian and Dave Myers, from Myorian Studio, are glass and metal artists who create the beautiful Humanitarian Awards that we will present to our honorees this year, as we did in 2021. The incredible jewelry of Tara King-Haagen and Debi Rosenblum reflects the unique way in which natural and antique materials are woven into contemporary design. I could go on and on.

The Gallery grows each day, and even the composite picture of artists, at the top of this newsletter, will grow significantly before the Gallery opens for business on October 30th, and remains open until the end of the year. Please visit often 

While some of the artists donate their pieces, others can't at this time. Help our newly forming family of artists, as well as the Charter for Compassion, as we equally share what is paid for the art. Art will be sent to you directly from the artist and your secure payment will include shipping, handling and if required insurance costs at check out.
